The Process

  1. How to begin:  Start by gathering ideas for your project.  It is helpful to keep a folder of magazine clippings, web searches, fine art, furniture, or anything else that inspires you. Decorative painting is a visual and creative process and the information you collect will help me get a sense of your style and the colors that attract you.
  2. Schedule a consultation:  We will speak on the phone about your project and any ideas you may have.  Next I will come out for a site meeting and consultation.  During this meeting I will show my portfolio of samples, match colors, and together we will narrow down the options. 
  3. Deposit and samples:  An initial deposit of $150 is required to begin.  This deposit covers four custom samples for your project.  Additional samples will cost $50 each.  Other samples from the portfolio may be rented for a holding fee of $50 to be refunded when the sample is returned. 
  4. Contract and scheduling:  When a final sample is chosen and the contract is signed, 50% of your project total is collected (minus the initial deposit).  Next, your job is scheduled. 
  5. Job: Prior to the start date make sure to remove breakables from the area and have heavy items moved away from the wall if necessary. Any wall repairs and prep work should also be completed at this time.  Upon completion of your job the remaining 50% is collected and your home has been transformed into a custom piece of art!
